My name is Genís Segarra, and my passion for exploring the world began with my parents' compact digital camera. As I grew older, I wanted to take my interest more seriously, which led me to pursue a higher education course in Iluminació Captació i Tractament de la imàtge at La Caparrella Institute in Lleida . There, I built a foundational knowledge of what it means when we talk about photography.

After two years of studies and several projects, I decided I wanted to deepen my knowledge in photography and continue my education. This led me to enroll at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya). Where, I discovered the world of cinema. Since that moment, I never stopped shooting film with the goal of dedicating myself and making a lasting mark in this field.
